Keep children from becoming passive smokers! Because sidestream (secondhand) smoke burns at a lower temperature than inhaled smoke, it contains:

• Two times more tar, which gums up lungs and breathing passages

• Five times more carbon monoxide, which reduces the amount of oxygen in the blood
